Escaped North Carolina rodeo bull
Authorities in North Carolina were looking for a 700-pound runaway rodeo bull that was characterized as deadly and fiercely combative.
The bull escaped from a stockyard in Norwood, North Carolina, on Wednesday, according to police in the town, which is situated approximately 50 miles east of Charlotte.
But they swiftly clarified that it wasn’t a typical animal.
“This bull is chocolate in color and is extremely aggressive,” the department cautioned. “If you see this bull please call 911 immediately and under no circumstances should you approach the animal, as he will chase you.”
Around 10 a.m. on Wednesday, according to Norwood Police Chief James Wilson, the hostile bull “broke through the wall and escaped” from the stockyard.
He added that experts with dogs qualified to track cattle were anticipated to join the search, saying “They brought in some cowboys from out of town to try and track this bull down.”
However, the cowboys said they had seen nothing of the runaway bull on Friday, according to WBTV-TV in Charlotte.
Reba Luther, a resident of Norwood, told the channel that “Somebody didn’t lock the gate and that big joker got out. The way I understand it, he was charging cars on Indian Mound.”
Numerous posts on social media made fun of the situation as a result of it. The Norwood Police Department reposted a particularly funny meme created by the public on Facebook.
