Chelsea Star Player Suffers Injury on International Duty

The English Football Association has given an update on the injury situation of Chelsea's defender, Reece James.

The FA released a statement on the fitness of the right-back player on Saturday, March 25th, 2023. According to reports from the Three Lions Camp, James had returned to Chelsea and will be accessed by the doctors at the club.

Reece James has withdrawn from England squad and will not feature against Ukraine on Sunday. The full-back has returned to Chelsea for assessment on the ongoing issue. No replacements are planned as Gareth Southgate's squad including the suspended Luke Shaw continue their preparation at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Chelsea Supporters will hope the injury to James is not serious as they look to bounce back from the disappointing result against Everton.
