The University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) Management Board has appointed Jim Uwadiae as new Director of Administration.

The University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) Management Board has appointed Jim Uwadiae as new Director of Administration.

Head, Public Relations and Protocols, UBTH, Joshua Uwaila, said in a statement.

Uwadiae is an alumnus of the Bendel State (now Ambrose Alli University) and the University of Benin. He acquired a bachelor’s degree in History/Education in 1991.

He also has a bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from the National Open University of Nigeria, post-graduate degrees from the University of Benin, Master of Public Administration (MPA) 1997, Master of Health Planning and Management (MHPM) 2006 and Master of Law (LLM) 2021.

Uwadiae belongs to several professional bodies such as the Institute of Health Service Administrators of Nigeria, Institute of Management and the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators.

He is the Chairman, Institute of Health Service Administrators, UBTH chapter and Chairman, Nigeria Institute of Management, UBTH unit.
